The “European Aeronautics Science Network“ association (EASN) and the Council for Europen Aerospace Societies (CEAS) met at the University of Glasgow, during the 04 to 07 of September, to foster the cooperation and interaction between participants on a multidisciplinary basis. The conference serves as a platform for sharing research activities and exchanging novel ideas for future research with a relative pan-European and global audience. EMBRAER PT presented the FASTEN Platform for Manufacturing with a special focus on the aeronautics use case: Generic pick’n’place automation, Prescriptive maintenance of key production resources and Optimization and Simulation of wing assembly lines.
